Totem Sound System

The TSS is a statement piece, it is your music companion for hi-fi and mindful listening. Designed for quality and modularity, this music system is part of Atelier Belge's Totem collection, following a sleek and premium look and feel.

During a design process, sometimes you find yourself against the wall, quite literally for this one. We were trying to hide the wires, which posed a problem if we wanted to allow the system to be hung on a wall.

After hours and hours of trying to solve the problem in a way that was acceptable to us in terms of quality, experience, and aesthetic, no solution really satisfied us. But then it happened, a question arose. What if we embrace the wires instead of hiding them? That's what led us here. What was a problem became a feature.

It is a great example of how fruitful it can be to flip the thinking and look at the wall a bit differently, instead of trying to break it.
